Today we had our last day with the kids. No surprize to me that Lexi and Meagan took it the hardest. We all bonded well with them but Meagan and Lexi loved the little ones, and they returned the affection. We were able to get the sheetrock done on the ceiling of the house along with hanging the doors, so the house is totally inclosed as we leave. We were unable to finish the project as the money from our two groups ran out. They will have to wait know for the next group in October. You prayer warriors are needed, not with our group but the one from Prieri Du Sac as one of thier leaders cut his finger deep and had to go the hospital, they sent him to another hosptal that could handle the injury better. Pray for healing and that they are able to reconnect the tendon that was hurt or cut through. Will write more torrorrow on the condition of Dewayne. As we look to the next day we have to clean the houses that we are in and we are having a bonfire on the beach with our worship tonight. unable to send any pictures, so will have to wait till church on sunday. I will be bring the comments back to the girls as I am at a internet cafe today. I was hopeing to be able to upload pic's. Pray for safty coming back accross the border and heading to San Diego.

Can't believe your time in Mexico is almost up! We are praying for your endurance as you finish strong and return safely home. We also will be holding up DeWayne, the leader who cut his finger so badly. Hey, Tay...guess what arrived in the mail today? Yep, your passport. :-)
Just like Mary said about Elie, I keep expecting you to drive in after work...seems so weird to not have you here. I can't wait to get my arms around you and hear about your trip. God speed to you all.
Love ~ Mama Lo

Hi everybody,
I can't believe how fast the week went, for us at home that was a good thing but, I know how hard it must be for all of you, to have it be coming to a close, you were able to acomplish some pretty amazing things while you were there and touched the hearts of many, while sharing God's word, you are all very special, and throuhg the grace of God the many many people you worked with this week will hold a piece of you in their hearts forever!!
Meagan I knew it would be very hard for you and Lexi to say goodbye to all the kids. But just thank the Lord for blessing you, guiding you and giving you the gift of being part of this mission trip. You truly touched those kids FOREVER!!
We will continue to pray for all of you, for safe travels and leaving an area you all became attached to in such a short time.
We will also keep DeWayne in our prayers as well as his family.

Hi Team,
Your week is just about over but the experience will last a lifetime. You quickly find out people are interested in relationships with you, seeing you reach out and just serve, talk, laugh and be real authentic lovers of God and others.
Have a great flight back and be ready for some major exhaustion and sleep.
Grace, Pastor Joe
